The Highlight Room at Moxy Lower East Side July 4th Party

Event Description

Celebrate July 4th above the Lower East Side at The Highlight Room, the glamorous 16th floor rooftop lounge at Moxy LES. With floor-to-ceiling glass, lush garden-inspired design, an open-air terrace, and sweeping views from the Empire State Building to the Freedom Tower, this downtown rooftop delivers the kind of elevated NYC holiday atmosphere that makes Independence Day feel like a night out.

This is a stylish July 4th rooftop party built around music, cocktails, skyline views, and the energy of one of Tao Group Hospitality’s most recognizable downtown venues. Guests can enjoy DJ entertainment, rooftop access, craft cocktails, and a lively holiday crowd in an indoor-outdoor setting designed for summer nights in New York City.

What to Expect

The Highlight Room has view of the fireworks depending on the official launch locations, this event is best suited for guests looking for a premium rooftop party experience rather than a dedicated front-row fireworks viewing event. If you want a fashionable downtown setting, skyline photo moments, and a true LES nightlife vibe for July 4th, The Highlight Room is one of the strongest rooftop options in Manhattan.

The Venue

The Highlight Room is a glamorous indoor-outdoor rooftop bar on the 16th floor of Moxy Lower East Side at 145 Bowery, operated by Tao Group Hospitality. Designed by Michaelis Boyd, the 2,000-square-foot space evokes a 19th-century pleasure garden inspired by the historic German winter garden that once stood on the Bowery, with lush foliage spilling from the ceiling and a majestic tree spreading its branches across the room and outdoor terrace. Glass walls encase the interior on all sides and fold back to open the terrace, with views stretching north to the Empire State Building and south to the Freedom Tower. Two-toned leather and velvet banquettes line the north and south walls, positioned to take full advantage of the skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows. The Highlight Room is open Monday through Sunday and shares a building with Loosie's nightclub and Silver Lining Lounge on the floors below.
