Cowgirl SeaHorse July 4th Party

Event Description

South Street Seaport is the place to be on the Fourth this year, and Cowgirl Seahorse is the move if you want the show without the chaos. The 50th anniversary Macy's fireworks light up the East River in 2026, and this kitschy honky-tonk sits right on the Seaport waterfront facing the Brooklyn Bridge. Skip the shoulder-to-shoulder bar scene: this is a seated party with a small crowd, an open bar pouring the frozen margaritas the place is famous for, and an all-American spread to keep the night going.

The Venue

Cowgirl Seahorse is the Seaport's beloved Tex-Mex-meets-honky-tonk hideaway on Front Street, a block off the East River. Seahorse kitsch, frozen margaritas, and a cheerful western streak give it a personality you won't find at the polished spots nearby. It's loud in the best way, unpretentious, and built for a good time, which is exactly why it works for a holiday that runs on the same energy.

What time should I arrive on July 4th?

Plan to arrive early. The Seaport falls inside the NYPD waterfront zone on the Fourth, with barricades and entry checkpoints across the area, so give yourself extra time to get in before the show.

What's the age requirement?

All ages are welcome.

What food and drinks are included?

An all-American buffet plus an open bar with beer, wine, and the frozen margaritas the venue is known for.

Is seating guaranteed?

Yes. This is a seated event with a capped guest count, not a standing-room bar night.
