The Venue

The Liberty Belle is the largest classic-style riverboat in the Empire Cruises fleet, departing from Pier 36 at 299 South Street on the Lower East Side. Four levels offer three climate-controlled indoor decks, each with its own full-service bar and dance floor, plus an expansive open-air promenade on top for skyline views. Seating for up to 300 guests with a maximum standing capacity of 500, the Liberty Belle is built for large-scale celebrations. A multi-level speaker system and plug-and-play AV access keep the entertainment running across all decks. Where is the departure location for Liberty Belle?

Liberty Belle departs from Pier 36, located at 299 South Street on the East River (Lower East Side of Manhattan). Your ticket confirmation email will include detailed directions. Boarding starts at 6:30pm and will depart at 7:30pm.

What happens if I arrive late or miss boarding?

Liberty Belle departs promptly at 7:30 PM and cannot wait for late arrivals due to Coast Guard regulations and harbor schedules. If you miss boarding, unfortunately there are no refunds or alternatives - the yacht will already be underway. We strongly recommend arriving 30-45 minutes before departure (by 6:30-7:00 PM) to ensure you don't miss the boat. Refer to the boarding instructions in your email confirmation for specific details.

Is Liberty Belle appropriate for children?

Yes! Liberty Belle welcomes guests of all ages for July 4th. . Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All tickets include a dinner buffet and open bar. The buffet features roast chicken, stuffed shells, eggplant rollatini, roasted potatoes, mixed vegetables, garden salad, and dinner rolls. Dessert includes celebration sheet cake with coffee and tea. Menu is subject to change.
