Argentina vs England Semifinal Watch Party @ Magic Hour NYC (Jul 15)

Event Description

Argentina vs England is the kind of World Cup semifinal that turns a weekday afternoon into a citywide event. Argentina brings the Messi-era magic and blue-and-white passion. England brings the Three Lions, knockout pressure, and a fanbase that has been waiting for this stage.

Watch the semifinal at Magic Hour Rooftop in Times Square with big screens, game sound, food and drink options, rooftop views, and DJ energy around the match. Whether you are backing Argentina, wearing England colors, visiting NYC, or looking for one of the best places to watch the World Cup semifinal in Manhattan, this is the match to make plans for.

Doors open at 2 PM. Kickoff is 3 PM. Wear your jersey — one win from the Final.

The Venue

Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge is where Times Square energy meets World Cup pressure. Set 18 floors above Midtown inside Moxy Times Square, the venue gives fans a rooftop match-day setting with skyline views, multiple bars, food and drink options, screens throughout the space, and game sound when the whistle blows.

For Argentina vs England, this is more than a place to watch the match — it is a full semifinal scene. Expect jerseys, chants, drinks in hand, DJ energy before kickoff and during breaks, and a crowd that knows one win sends their side to the Final. With its retractable rooftop, indoor-outdoor layout, and central location near Times Square, Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, Bryant Park, and the Theater District, Magic Hour gives this World Cup showdown the NYC stage it deserves.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the dress code for Magic Hour for the Semi-Final?

There's no strict dress code for the watch party. Wear your team's jersey, scarf, or country colors and come show your spirit. The usual Magic Hour Times Square energy still applies on non-match nights, so if in doubt, dress accordingly. Bottle service guests get the most leeway.

How is the match shown? With sound?

Yes. The Semi-Final is broadcast across multiple HD screens throughout the venue with full match sound during play. Magic Hour's sound system is built for DJ programming, so commentary comes through clear. Music programming wraps around the match.

What's included with my Magic Hour ticket?

Inclusions vary by ticket tier. Some are entry-only with cash bar, others include a complimentary welcome drink, and premium tiers may include food and drink packages. Semi-Finals draw heavier crowds than group stage, so higher-tier packages move faster. Check your specific ticket for what's included.

What time should I arrive at Magic Hour?

At least 45 minutes before kickoff. Magic Hour enforces capacity limits and once the venue hits cap, entry is one-in-one-out regardless of your ticket.

Is Magic Hour an indoor or outdoor venue?

Both. The retractable roof opens for open-air rooftop atmosphere in good weather and closes for climate-controlled comfort when needed. You get the rooftop experience either way.

How do I get to Magic Hour?

485 7th Avenue, 18th floor. Entrance is on 7th Avenue between 36th and 37th Streets, not through the Moxy hotel lobby. Closest subway is 34th Street-Penn Station (1/2/3/A/C/E) or 34th Street-Herald Square (B/D/F/M/N/Q/R/W).

Price increase warning: Fourth of July ticket prices often go up significantly (100% +) the closer you get to the night of the party.
