Event Description

Slate Rooftop in Williamsburg is the kind of July 4th party where you're playing oversized Jenga with a frozen drink in one hand and the Manhattan skyline behind you. Perched atop The Pod Brooklyn Hotel at 247 Metropolitan Ave, this solar-powered rooftop trades the nightclub energy for something more fun and loose: games, a photo booth, shareable bites, and an open bar while the fireworks light up the sky across the river. It's the Brooklyn approach to the Fourth. No velvet rope, no dress code drama. Just a rooftop, good drinks, and the best skyline view in Williamsburg. 21+.

The Venue

Slate Rooftop sits atop The Pod Brooklyn Hotel at 247 Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg, with its own entrance on Metropolitan Ave. The rooftop is the only solar-powered rooftop bar in NYC, with al fresco seating for 125 guests and an industrial-chic design framed by panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline. The space is known for its playful atmosphere: oversized Jenga, Connect Four, ping pong, a boxing punch machine, and a rotation of board games alongside specialty cocktails from Liquid Lab NYC, frozen drinks, and shareable bites. A stairway from street level features rotating installations from local Brooklyn artists. A follow-up to the original Slate NY in Chelsea, the Williamsburg location opened in 2022 and has quickly become one of the neighborhood's go-to warm-weather spots.
