The Venue
Mr. Purple is a rooftop bar, restaurant, and lounge on the 15th floor of Hotel Indigo Lower East Side at 180 Orchard Street. Operated by Gerber Group, the 3,000-square-foot interior is designed by Crème Design in a modern industrial style with reclaimed wood, concrete finishes, free-hanging lights, and contemporary furniture that captures the artistic spirit of the LES. Two outdoor terraces and a rooftop pool complement the indoor lounge, with panoramic views spanning from SoHo and the Empire State Building to One World Trade Center. The bar features small-batch spirits, craft cocktails bottled in-house, regionally brewed beer, and an American food menu. Open daily, Mr. Purple has been one of the Lower East Side's most established rooftop destinations since 2015.
